Brother Adam Windnagel ’11 Memorial Fund

Dear Brothers,

Many of you have heard the news of Brother Adam Windnagel’s (’11) passing in April of this year.  Members of the OSU community have worked with Adam’s family to create a scholarship fund to honor his legacy.  Adam graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2013 and was a member of the Honors Cohort program at the Fisher College of Business as well as many other student groups and organizations, including Kappa Sigma. The Adam Windnagel Memorial Scholarship will benefit the Honors Cohort’s annual international trip to Brazil, enabling students to enjoy many things that Adam was fond of: great food, music, helping emerging businesses, travel, and time with friends.

We invite anyone who wishes to donate at the link here.

About the Honors Cohort Brazil Trip:

• 2 Brazilian students and 3-4 Cohort students collaborate as a team throughout the fall semester in the virtual environment in a case competition for a sponsor company
• Cohort students travel to Brazil in December for 12 days
• Once in-country, teams meet and finalize their proposals and present them to the organization
• While in Brazil, Cohort students also enjoy various cultural immersion experiences, such as: exploring various neighborhoods in São Paulo, visiting local markets and restaurants, bike rides, and beach volleyball
